When you join the Atlas Vacation Owners Club you are automatically enrolled into the RCI exchange system for 3 years. So if you decide one year that you do not wish to holiday in any of our Atlas resorts, then you can request an exchange to one of the 3,900 RCI resorts in over 100 countries all over the world.

Your RCI Exchange Reservations are dealt with through the same offices as your Atlas bookings. The type of your Atlas Membership i.e. season/colour band and occupancy of apartment will determine what you can access under the RCI exchange rules.

RCI Exchanges are subject to availablity and if you are planning to request an exchange to a highly rated and popular RCI resort, for example in Florida near Disney World in the school holidays or to a European ski resort over the Christmas / New Year period, then you will need to request early.

You can exchange up to 24 months before you plan to travel. Don't forget to request dates which are in the same or lower season band than the weeks you are entitled to through your Atlas Membership.

You can make travel arrangements at the same time as requesting your exchange all in one easy phone call. Flights, ferries and car hire can be booked at competitive rates with major operators.
 
If you want to make your request 45 to 2 days before you travel, then all the rules regarding seasons and occupancy are waived. but of course availability may be limited.   If you wish to allow your friends or family to enjoy an RCI exchange holiday on your membership this can easily be arranged for a fee. A marvellous week's holiday accommodation makes a wonderful gift.
   
While no additional fee is payable when making a Atlas reservation, an exchange fee is payable if booking a vacation in resorts within the RCI system.
